i probably would boost but sometimes it takes me over 10 minutes just to find a raid. add the raid time and it's basically 3 wasted armies. it would feel like a lot of wasted money.I usually do one boost session per evening, and maybe two per day on Saturday/Sunday. If I'm boosting everything (6 barracks, heroes, SF it runs me roughly $30/mo. in gems if I buy them in the $20 bags.
Obviously, not everyone wants to spend money on CoC so you can do the exact same thing without boosting, but it just takes 4 times longer.
oh yeah also, i've literally only used lightning my entire 3 months playing this game. level 5 lightning, level 1 rage. is rage better than lightning enough that i should forget about upgrading th9 bam and get my rage up first. 10 days could get my rage to level 4.

Yes you can, but I don't feel it's the optimal DE farming strategy. You do have the DE tax for the minions each time you use them (660 DE in my case) so you have to take that into account.
I've got another thread that we're talking about DE farming exclusively and the technique Stitch shared is far superior to BAM for DE/hr. in my opinion.

You can certainly get more attacks per hour with BAM, but in the "premie" range where it really shines the DE haul isn't quite as good. So if you're spending 500 DE to get 700 DE, it's not very profitable.
Absolutely, I added another section to the end discussing this. I first started BAMing at TH8 and farmed my skulls so fast that I had to premie TH9 so I had walls to spend it on.
I can't remember my minion level, but obviously you'll want to bump them up as soon as you can to improve your deep push into bases.
As you probably noticed I just do all rage for my spells. Lightning would be handy on occasion for CC troops, but I pretty much don't care about win/losses so if I hit a base and the CC wrecks me I just move to the next attack.
With the types of premie bases I'm attacking it's somewhat rare that there's even anything in the CC.
Rage is what powers the deep push into a base for storages, so that's why I like having it. I've experimented with heals to try and keep things alive longer, but the minions don't really benefit from it, so I only use rage.
Cool! Thx for replying so quickly! I know my minions are a little low on lvl but I've really been workin on my barb king for a while and I'm a pretty casual player so de doesn't come in as fast.
It may be absurd, but i am moving to masters in TH9 to farm my walls with loons, do you think that would be efficient?
