Heya guys, Az here again with a couple of suggestion which came to my mind because of recent events. I've done checks of the first 3 pages of this forum, searched for keywords, and checked the Ruled-out topic. If these have been suggested, please inform me.
1. Clan Activity Tab
To elaborate - Players leaving/joining, Promotions, Clan war searches, etc. All of these often get pushed down due to chat. And more often than not, when I realize someone isn't my clan anymore, I'd like to see who kicked them, or if they left. But when I scroll down, it's all chat. A clan activity tab is basically another tab on your chatbar, but it only shows player actions(join/leave/promote/demote,etc.).
To add on to logs,
2. Longer chat logs
You could simply be chatting with a few of your clanmates, and in less than 10 minutes, things you've said have been pushed off. If this wouldn't take too much of a toll on server load, I'd just like a simple lengthening of chat message counts, as it's measured in messages, not time. A message can't stay for 10 minutes if there's active chatting, but it can stay for weeks if the clan's not using the chat.
3. Troop Donations, seeing who donated what.
This could be shown on someone's request, i.e, when a player requests for troops, and his request is partially filled, you can see who donated what, and in what amount.
or as a sub-tab in your clan info, only seen by clan members. It could be shown as an activity log, similar to the war events tab, i.e.
Recent Donations
Azure > Dawn - 5 archers
Dawn > Azure - 1 dragon.
Or even both, clan chat and sub-tab.
4. Finding Players
I've seen this suggested a few times on CoC's facebook page, but no one particularly addressed this suggestion. A simple feature, to search for players by name.
There's been so many reasons why I want to find players, including but not limited to,
- They don't have Gamecenter because they're on Android.
- I recall their names, but not their clans, and need to talk to them.
- He/She is not in my clan anymore, and I can't find out if he/she was kicked or left because I hadn't played in a few days.
All these are real scenarios. I let in someone who was a real great guy on the global eventhough he was less than 1/3 the required level to join my clan. He leveled up steadily for a few days, then when I got back from my week-break from CoC, I realized he wasn't in the clan anymore. I even remember his name to this day - Luxa. If this could be implemented and I could find that person again, it would be amazing.
If it couldn't, this is an appeal to anyone who works at Supercell and could somehow find this person. Call me crazy, but he/she was a genuinely nice player. Please!
That's about it. Any feedback, or possible modifications to make these suggestions better would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!![]()
