You want to permanently ban someone who might've put $10,000 into their account for glitching once? Yes this was a huge glitch and people gained an unfair amount of trophies, but not every case is the same! That is why supercell is reviewing everything on a case by case basis and deciding what they think is fair for each offender individually. Again, do you take away someones expensive car when they get stopped for speeding? And speeding can result in crashes that END lives.

Analogizing driving (which is a necessity for most people) to a VIDEO GAME is a really bad analogy. But, if you still want to go with the analogy, then I'd point out that we jail people for traffic offenses, force them to pay hundreds of dollars for even the smallest infraction, jack up their insurance
when they get tickets and force them to pay huge civil damages if they injure anyone by their actions. So... not quite comparable to banning someone from playing a video game.

Im not going to lie, I don't understand the reason for the hatred here.

I never feel a full ban is ever the answer, but if I may ask... how did this affect you?

How much they've spent isn't relevant. Worse, it implies that people who spend more should be punished differently. The statement "I feel that taking away their toy for c heating is wrong." is a normative statement which cannot be rebutted. I understand you feel that way... But why?

I don't think a lifetime ban is necessary, but I suggest a 7 day ban would survive any cost benefit analysis by people willing to €heat if the costs of doing so are 'reasonable.' In other words, a slap on the wrist will simply encourage more €heating. I'm not sure 3 weeks is a sufficient deterrent where a person was able to farm without fear of reprisal for an extended period of time.

I would like to say the time frame in which the glitch was fixed was very speedy and appropriate compared to EA and the experiences I have had with them over the years. I have personally lost a leading position due to their inaction when a score abusing glitch was was present for days or weeks. EA never reverted scores and never banned players for using and gaining from the glitch while leaving those who played a fair game to watch their efforts erased and forgotten.

I sent a PM to lil Ceez or whatever his name was. I really don't understand the hatred for these guys. But I'm willing to listen as to why you think a 7 day ban or reset of trophies is ineffective.

I didnt believe that this was true before, but now that i look at the records im noticing a change a huge change. A champ doesnt just get... 32 defense wins... Or 206 attacks won. I looked through the top global players and i saw that these people in particular have outstanding numbers that have never been showing up before. For example, look at KEMAL in N44, theres no way he can win so many defenses. Theres something terribly wrong in the coc server, SC has to stop this before this happens to not just champs, but to everyone. Also something happened to Clayton that he retired something about someone hãcking his account :/
