Supercell fix this ♥♥♥♥ or many top players will quit this game

Now that's a provocative statement!

Let me back it up...

First, as has been repeatedly and properly said, playing CoC with a jailbroken phone is not €heating in and of itself. There are lots of legitimate reasons to jailbreak, and most people don't €heat simply because they jailbroke. But... And here's a big butt, only people with jailbroken phones can access the mod. That means (assuming supercell can determine who is actually using a phone that's been jailbroken) they can end €heating now by banning their use.

I don't like the idea of punishing people simply for using a jailbreak, but what's SC to do? I looked at the mod and it creates an awesome advantage. It's tempting. It would turn me into a farmer extrordinaire. And though I'm NOT going to use it or allow anyone in my clan to use it, just knowing it's out there destroys my incentives to play. I want a fair battlefield.

And that's the real danger... That people will view the game, in general, with suspicion and stop playing.

If that's not worth it, buy a used, clean iTouch iPad mini—it's less than what most champions-league are spending each month on gems. And if you are the person left out in the cold... Realize the good of the many outweighs the desires of the few. With luck, Supercell can defeat the mod straight up, but the pressure to create new mods will always be there... And we know 99.99% will be for jailbroken phones.

Sure Supercell could simply ban jailbroken phones except that's ridiculous. About 20% of apple devices are jailbroken. Not only that but, yes, the ♥♥♥♥♥ is currently only for jailbroken phones. What happens though when these ♥♥♥♥ers can't use their jailbreak? They find other methods. Currently the only reason it's jailbreak only is because it's the simplest method to 1. distribute and 2. create ♥♥♥♥s. Even without a jailbreak there's programs that can access an app's files and modify them. All it would take is one clever ♥♥♥♥er (Many in jailbreak community) to port a ♥♥♥♥ to unjailbroken phones. So overall, it's just going to create more issues for Supercell to ban all jailbroken players due to there being a ♥♥♥♥ available. How about instead of focusing on the jailbreak community as a whole we focus on the ♥♥♥♥er community that's destroying the leaderboards of this game?

Nice idea, but CoC is not just available for Apple devices anymore. It's also on Android. And you don't have "jailbreak" Android devices to install files outside Google Play.

The forums would be absolutely clogged with incoherent whining and complaining if SC were to reset their accounts. That's all I'm saying, I admit I did somewhat misword my original post.

If any of you reading this are unaware, in the last 24 hours there has been an issue where some top players have been downloading a crazy mod. This next paragraph will explain the mod, if you already know about it, feel free to skip.

By now, the CoC forums is basically SPAMMED with posts on this subject.

When you get to around 3600 trophies, it takes about 40-60 minutes to find a match. And when you are done sitting in the clouds, that match you find gets you 1-3 trophies. So the raiding is so ineffecient up there. The mod makes it much easier to increase trophies. Most top players only win 1-5 defences a season. So it is really hard to get trophies up there. If you scroll through the top players profiles, you will realize some of them have won 20-30 defences this season. This is because of the mod. When you hover over a base in which the defender has the mod installed, right when the base shows up, there will be a message saying: "Client error and server out of sync", and you will have to reload the game and when you check your attack log, there will be an attack that has 1 barbarian placed, and no replay available. You just lost 20-40 trophies. You are a victim of the mod. Players have been using this mod to win defences and increase their trophies rapidly.

Earlier today, there was a maintenance break that fixed the mod. And now the players that used this mod feel like they got away with it. If we don't push Supercell to punnish these players, they will get away with it. There have indeed been other bad mods in the past, but none this bad. I mean, how do you think this feels to the attacker that just lost 40 trophies? It takes several days to earn those 40 trophies back that high.

So how SHOULD these guys be punnished? I have heard a genious penalty that will hurt them in a way that won't get them banned. Set them back at 0 trophies. These guys deserve it for stealing days of raiding from other players that play the game the way it should be played.

Another punnishment would be an obvious one, to just simply ban them from the game. But does Supercell want to do that? Nooooooooooooo they don't. We know they want money, and I don't balme them. Who doesn't want money? But really, these guys deserve some kind of hurtful penalty.

Permanent ban I think. Ch3@ting your fellow players when you know how hard it is to gain trophies up there is appalling. I think ch3@ting the game is one thing but this isn't fair.

Or clear their cups and reverse the ♥♥♥♥ so when they get to champ the game resets when they try attack.

At the moment these players have a 16 day ban, I don't think it is enough.

If these guys cant see over there mile high piles of cash to remove those h.ac.kers out of the game i for one will walk away with all 4 accounts. Our clan feels the same way as do quite a few in most of our other clans.

A seven day ban is rubbish, they needed tougher punishments or they will be right back to it, finding any loopholes they can.

Cmon Supercell, do whats right for the Players or you might loose a few.

Players are not investors, they are customers. Doing what fills your pockets the quickest is what's right for investors, particularly in the mobile gaming space where games tend to have short longevities.
