Supercell fix this ♥♥♥♥ or many top players will quit this game

but I'll suggest it here again...

It is understandable that SuperCell would need more than 24 H to get to the bottom of (let's just call it) a glitch as monumental as this one
- the gem bug itself took almost a week to investigate & patch & roll back.

Till then, can't SuperCell give those Champ (especially those in high Champ since we are the ones that are in the trophy range to run into these rather enterprising players)
the option to buy a shield till this entire situation is settled.

Suggestions asking us to just defend without attacking is ridiculous, bordering on insanity.
With each play session averaging 20-50 trophies, depending on your luck,
and each defense potentially setting you back by 10-40 cups (sometimes more, if you're really unlucky),
you're suggesting that we sit back & watch days of staring @ clouds go down the drain.
Not to mention the money that most of us have put in during those playing sessions.

Yes, it would mean some loss of revenue for the company,
but, as many here have often stated, we make less than 1% of the total player base
& the money we spend is not as much as that of the sheer volume of the 99%.
Besides, not everyone will want to hide under a shield
- there are some players who are more than happy to attack and take the risk.

There are a lot of honest players out there who aren't even aware of how this "glitch" happens in the first place
- it seems unfair that we should all be suffering the uncertainties of raiding a dodgy base while the company works on fixing & patching it.

Your suggestion is based on the assumption that SC actually cares about the fairness of the leaderboards and the well-being of players up there.
