Supercell fix this ♥♥♥♥ or many top players will quit this game

its basic sales tactics always better to have 100 £1000 accounts per month than 10 £2000 accounts per month. Lost one of the big accounts it has a big percentage loss of business wheras lose a £1000 account always more to find without losing big bucks

As already said by another post: It only happened to "innocents" who shared their accounts... Sharing their accounts is also some sort of ch3ating... So: Innocence is no excuse....

I was once working around 2005 as a contractor for a company hosting a browser game with around 2 million players... The game has had a glitch which was overseen for weeks which gave a big advantage to some of the top-clans by making them able to generate unlimited InGame-currency in their clan-deposit and share it to all of its members.... From these 2 millions players around 100.000 were investing money into the game... The whole thing came to light and the CEO of that company decided to give the Ch3aters only a slap on their fingers... All things they've bought (mostly troops and districts) were taken out of their accounts and they were banned from the game for 2 weeks.... After this decision within 3 month over 60.000 paying customers have left the game... Also some thousands of players from other games they were hosting were leaving.... The reputation of the game and the guys in charge were completely ruined and the plug was pulled in cause of no longer being profitable another 3 month later.... The company tried to win back their customers by making special offers and free giveaways within all their games... But it has not helped, the company went bankrupt 8 month later and was then bought by another one... All in cause of this mild decision... You can have billions of dollars available for developing games, but once the customers are no longer trusting you you have lost the most important resource you had... No chance to get it back once the word is around....

making clear statements is essentially for every games-company in the freemium, ptw games business....

and loosing 100k from some hundred big fishes which are banned is not as bad as loosing 500k from three or four thousand players paying only small amounts and the follow ups from their advertising within their circle of friends...

Many dont even know whats going on. SC should make a formal apology public. I agree 100 percent with everything you have said , however this dirty little secret is contained in forum discussions. Smart people like you know that s exactly where they want this to stay. Although i am not high ranking player basically just a nobody...i have put info on my Facebook , twitter and blog.

I honestly don't see why they should... It doesn't affect 99.9% of the player base, and is already fixed. What's the point? If people want to know about it, they can visit here. Its a public forum, not a dirty little secret

they only way it was done to accounts without person knowing was because they shared accounts, you are putting yourself in danger doing that, which is why sc says never to do it.

You don't... they don't have to know your password or log on as you... once again for people like you who don't understand and may be naive about it. All they have to be in in your clan to bestow this (since I cant say CCCheaat) ill say hak. I didn't give ANYONE in mega clan my password nor where they ever on it. Read some more in here and ask around youll find out how they did it on many other innocents before you talk like you understand

i agree, the punishment should be a perma-ban. It may sound harsh, but most of them have more than 1 account anyways. They won't stay offline for long.

My opinion is that the revenue lost from these che4ters will ultimately be less than the loss from potential spenders who are discouraged by the che4ts.

if they spent an insane amount of money to bring up their base, that would mean they have the cash to burn. im sure some of those who will be banned can always gem their new bases.

sc is not being fair to those that were wronged by these offenders. and believe me, some of those who fell prey to the ♥♥♥♥ ALSO spend an insane amount on gems. do you think they will continue to buy gems after this fiasco? whats the use of gemming my barracks, spells and heroes to attack more, when ♥♥♥♥ers can return, and take my hard earned cups again?

sc, you get rid of a few, you win the trust and respect of your customers, you make even more money.

darko, this is why you guys should have kicked these ♥♥♥♥er/players from your clan and reported this to sc immediately. i find it impossible that this ♥♥♥♥ wasnt brought up at all in your clan chat. they will surely boast of this exploit to you guys. now if you didnt report it, why should sc take your word that it was "bestowed" upon you without your consent? funny, why only some of you were given this amazing cup trap, and the others weren't. is it because they declined the exploit?
