One of the most debated questions: Max or rush? (TH 9)

You don't have to max town hall 9 but don't rush town hall 10 (Unless of course you're like super rich and have lots of money to spend on the game or are sponsered by a company)

I maxed my TH9 up to lego walls and lvl 15 and 17 heroes. Everything else maxed, including lab except only lvl 3 golem.

Once I got to TH10, I started building two inferno towers within the first 24 hours, and once my next clan war started, I went from 4th highest base, up to #1 base in my clan lol. Simply because of the two ITs. It was a nice feeling.

It pays to max out. It makes leveling TH10 so much easier. Like others have said, you should take advantage of raiding rich TH8s at TH9 because you lose that ability at TH10. You are paying 1k gold per search at TH10, so again, take advantage of the cheaper next button at TH9. You can definitely farm more efficiently at TH9, so why not be more efficient?

And when you get to TH10, you are a BEAST. Add the ITs and you're already stronger than 90-95% of the TH10s in Crystal league! What a nice reward

I had premie TH9 and went to TH10... started building two inferno towers & Spell Factory within 2hrs the builder finished upgrading TH and started 3rd xbow the next day. Don't need to max everything to do that. its only time management.

TH10 farming is not bad at all... it's even better and get lot more loots than before, just farm in the right league!

When you go to TH10 you start to win defences, having well placed infernoes will scare off most hog and balloon attackers. I would say infernoes is the biggest advantage of TH10 so far. (Ive been TH10 for 2 weeks)

yeah, that's the fact
when a th8 asking about going to th9, then those th6/7 guys will come and say max out
those noobs will always bragging that their th6/7 will destroy a premie TH9/10.
I'm a premie TH9/10 and I always wondering how they do that while even a maxed TH9 can't easily get me.

well, I'm a premie th10 with basically TH7/half TH8 point defense... I never regret it because TH10 is so much fun, no one will bother to touch my resource because they're guarded by 3 xbows and infernos.

Then bad loot on TH10 is just a myth. When you know how to farm and you know how to beat people, you don't have to max everything.

I always a premie, never max my TH and doesn't have any problem to loot, defense or CW. I never have idling labs or builders too. My gold grab is now very close to 1b...

well done sharo haha., i'm also doesn't want to fully maxed TH9, it's just a waste of time. but since the poll was 'Rush/Maxed/Undecided' only, i've to choose Maxed, yeah, Only Maxed Defense,Camps, and Farm/CW Army.

THis guide is awesome. I was really enlightened by the idea of "Rushing will increase the interest of the player in the game".

Count me as a believer in maxing TH9. Although I recently made the plunge to TH10, I didn't quite max th9 with only level 20 heroes and lego walls. Still, I think I stayed longer at Th9 than most tend to. The grind finally got to me but I am glad I made it as long as I did if nothing else but for the hero levels. Now that I have new toys at TH10, I find that I am neglecting heroes again while I prioritize my searches on gold vs. previously on DE. But you missed one small advantage to moving to TH10 and that is the new content. Going forward, it is highly likely that most new content will only be available to the highest TH level.
