One of the most debated questions: Max or rush? (TH 9)

Maxing bases saves time when you go to the next TH, and at the same time it displays farming capabilities as well as patience when others look at your base.

As a TH9, when I look at another TH9 with max defenses, Lv30 heroes, and full Lavas, I think... "damn" this guy is active, he is an effective farmer, and he has some insane patience.

Compare this to me looking at a TH9 will Skulls/Lv7 walls, mediocre leveled defenses and Lv10 heroes. It's very easy to tell if this player just got to TH9 but if he didn't, I think...this guy has not a lot of patience, he's probably noobish seeing he premmied his TH, and he probably isn't active enough to farm maxed defenses.

I agree with him, im 40% away from max th9 with level 10 walls and max heroes. All you ever need is patience. I saw the dude who have max th9, i was so afraid to attack him even tho he have 3k DE available and possibly revenged me cos i have 40k de (lucky i upgraded minions to 4 after i sniped his th) also i farmed over 20k de in day by using Balloonions. Best day ever!

Yeah, and i only got that feeling on maxing th7 .

Currently i'm TH 9. Rush always good : )

I always rush for the sake of attack purpose, but TH 10 is a defensive TH, not an offensive one like TH 9. I can't tell you if i rush or not, but this is my rule for every TH upgrading if someday i upgrade to TH 10 i must be accomplished one of this four condition :

1. I don't care how premature my defense, as long as my wall max i'll upgrade the TH

2. I don't care how bad my wall, i'll proceed my TH to next level if my defense is max

3. I'll ignore everything and upgrade my TH if there are nothing left to research

4. Hero max = New TH

That was my 4 principles for my every TH upgrading, so far i'm very quick reaching max wall at every TH. My current TH 9 canon and archer tower is only level 9 now, but i already have about 50++ lego walls, from here you can tell how fast i rush when the first time i come to TH 9, but i don't have a choice, i overwhelm with gold

As for TH 9 i don't know which one of that 4 condition will max first. Lego and lava walls isn't a easy task because i'm never free my builder for wall job, leveling hero to level 30 still a long way to me, both my building and lab research remain very much work to max out because i'm not come as a max out TH 8. But if someday i go to TH 10, i must be fulfill one of that 4 condition

Then, how do you think ? Rush or not ?

Great! Good Job on those walls! I think that maxing walls at th9 is very stressfull, and requieres a lot of time. I think you will eventually max your laboratory before walls. Lava walls are very expensive, heroes and defense need time and i think that you should rush with level 9 walls and max laboratory! Anyways, good luck upgrading to legos!

The whole point of the game is to max out your village (also attacking, farming,etc.), but the main goal is to max your village. Why would you want to upgrade and get less loot from raids when you can still upgrade defences and get more loot in th9? Seems like a waste of potential loot and resources....
