Is there a way to clear clan chat?

Someone allowed to join my clan posted disgusting things in our clan chat. Needless to say, they were booted immediately but I would like to clear the chat or delete certain messages so I don't have to see it. More importantly, I'd like to clear it before my son is looking over my shoulder later since he loves the game, too. This might be a stupid question, but I couldn't figure it out. Thanks.

You could make a default message in a text messages then copy the message and paste it to the chat over and over again.
