Someone allowed to join my clan posted disgusting things in our clan chat. Needless to say, they were booted immediately but I would like to clear the chat or delete certain messages so I don't have to see it. More importantly, I'd like to clear it before my son is looking over my shoulder later since he loves the game, too. This might be a stupid question, but I couldn't figure it out. Thanks.
Nope, you can't unfortunally. What you can do is clean up the dirty chat by having your clanmates chat constantly, then all that innapropriate chat will flush down until it disappears.

I've had that happen to my clan too, and like others have said, if u chat, it will disappear. What I did to clear it was hit a letter then press return till the offensive chat disappeared.
