    I do see your intended symmetries with the Point-Defenses. However, splash damage symmetry/coverage is much more important, which you seemed to neglected. Essentially, you want to have 2 equilateral triangular configurations, 1 for your Mortars, 1 for your Wizard Towers. For Point-Defenses, you want to have 2 equilateral pentagonal configurations, 1 for your Archer Towers, 1 for your Cannons.

    Here's an example of the mentioned symmetries from a modified replica of my pre-patch TH8 design (I can't find a pic of my original):

    I did move the wizards and replace them with air defences, everything is slightly compromised I guess. Prior to that I had managed to keep everything sort of balanced.

    What I don't quite see is why the two triangle pattern is so important. I understand about having defences covering each other but the two advantages I see in my layout are:

    1. I have protected my air defences
    2. I have rapid fire splash damage (wizards) extending outside the outer walls.

    I am trying to build up some loot and get someone to attack. I have been cup dumping all evening, getting back to 1250 ish only to discover there is next to no loot to be had. Better get back up to 1400 and see if I can tempt someone to raid me.

    Until I get tested, I won't know if shuffling around the defences is helping.

    I suspect the "fully boxed" layout with nearly all lvl7 is putting people off attacking at all. I'd skip a base like that....

    Just thought of another benefit for my design: it's pretty and keeps the OCD side of me happy. ;D

    Junliang & I offered constructive and logical advices, which you don't seem to value and took as negative criticism. I'll just ignore your retaliative evaluation.

    Also, maybe try this out since you like pretty things.
