I like the design! I don't think the giant bombs are very useful for its cost. I would also switch the top wizard tower with the top air defense (2nd picture). That would even out air defense coverage a bit more and would add more wizard tower coverage to the gold storage.
I love the base designer on that first photo, looks far more realistic than the second one.

What do you guys think about my base? I am still TH7 but have already started thinking about base designs for TH8. My main goal is to protect gold. I tried to have a good amount of air coverage. I thought a tesla-based core would make for a great design. Each gold storage is covered by a tesla, wizard tower, mortar, and multiple point defenses.
Any and all suggestions are welcome and greatly appreciated

3 Tesla in your core, and your core contains your CC and Air def.
At TH8, Lv6 tesla has the highest DPS among all your towers, yet you are using them to defend your CC and Air Def
lol.. push out your tesla, and push in your gold.
And spring trap beside at those gold storage location is rather useless, i rather you put them inbetween 2 defense.
bombs: beside storage, spring trap: beside defense.
