Any tips on base design in general? By the way I'm mostly trophie hunting but sometimes drop down and farm
I have seen this base a lot, but it is an easy base to beat. It is super top heavy and 4 giants 20 barbarians and 40 archers could take out the whole top part. Second, the mortars are in a weird triangle. Third, open center = bad news. Also, get the clan castle in the center, because if I am looking for a base to raid, I do not raid one with a centralized clan castle

I have seen this layout many times so try to come up with something a little more snazzy

Hello, been playing a while so I thought I would make the next logical COC step and start posting here.
Anyway - my base

Not Bad dave. I would centralize the CC and kick out the townhall. Your outer layer does not seem segmented enough, and the core may to segmented.
I was thinking that you should switch the bottom wizard tower with the dark elixir storage and the dark elixir storage switches with one of the elixir storages. If you don't care about elixirs then you should try and use it as a tank to cover your wizard towers. Right now you should be mainly protecting your gold storages as they are the key to maxing out your defences which you are currently doing, protecting your gold storage. Also, your CC is too lurable, try making it more centralised.Originally Posted by Davetheduck
