In six days my second tesla will be maxed, and the only buildings I'll have left to max are the barracks (by then the two that aren't maxed will both be L7/8) and my mines/collectors, which will be L8/9. The only lab upgrade I'll have left when the tesla finishes is L2 minions. Only 12 walls are still pink.

Should I start my TH8 upgrade?

My clan, by the way, is comparatively inactive and small. I usually can only donate 1000/week, and my mines/collectors haven't been a priority, so my level isn't very inflated.

Posting this in this thread rather than starting a thread a)to reduce clutter on the board b)to show off my layout again in this thread (upgrading defenses are inside the base only temporarily, for purposes of demonstration) and c)to hurry this thread to page 85 because I want to see pinser's layout.

The reason I delayed it is because I'm having trouble finding someone willing to test it out, most of our DTP ppl are th8.

I don't plan on using them and I've been hearing tales about the backlog of elixir in TH8, figured I might as well wait. Maxing all the gold upgrades is the important thing, as I understand it.

almost going to th8 only missing air defense/mines/collectors everything is maxed, I have not built a dark barrack yet either, bk at level 3 going to 4, all research is done only need lvl 4 balloons. All spells maxed

i started this game at the beginning of march, any advice is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance

Pinser you must be some sort of Jedi master, to detect such laziness from me. I have actually been working with computers since dos 6.2 and windows 3.11. I too was conserving energy. LolL

Never, ever, EVER have 1 building per storage. You have defenses and storages outside of your base. That's a no-no.

How often do you get attacked by Air?

If a lot, then i'd do:
Swap left Wizard Tower with Left Mortar
Swap right Wizard Tower with Right Mortar
Swap Top Mortar with DE Storage
Swap Left Elixir with new DE Storage

If you don't get attacked by air a lot, then i'd do:
Put Left Air Defense where Left Wizard is
Put Left Wizard where Left Mortar is
Put Left Mortar where Left Air Defense is
(Same for Right Side)
Also swap your DE Storage for an Elixir one.

Basically you want to put your Wizard Towers next to as many storages as possible. They are insane at dealing damage on goblins when people finally do break through. Also keep your Mortars in a nice triangle. Otherwise it's not too bad.

By the way, forget about your level. Just ask SuperCell, doesn't matter if it's inflated/deflated anymore
