I know sandbox mode has been ruled out, but my idea should eliminate the problems that caused it to get ruled out in the first place.
Most people want to use sandbox mode to attack their own base. This would lead to people reconstructing the bases of people on their revenge list and doing infinite "practice attacks." Other people wanted the option to sandbox against their clan mates. The same problem exists because someone could have two accounts in the same clan.
So, here is my idea:
Have any of you seen the developers tablets that some of the YouTubers make videos on? The developer tablets can search through bases that Supercell has pre-made and the user has 300 of each troop.
My idea is similar. So when the user goes to attack, there is another button called "Sandbox Mode."
Sandbox mode is essentially the same thing as Finding a Match, but it is a little different.
1. You have 300 of every type of troop you own.
2. The bases that appear are not based on your trophy level.
3. You can search for specific base types to practice attacking on.
4. The bases found by the sand box search have no resources.
5. You cannot find any of the bases on your revenge list using the sandbox search.
This (above) is the screen that appears when you press "Sandbox Mode." Here, you can change some settings for bases you would like to find. You can search for a specific town hall or just set it to "any."
Then, a base will be found with the settings that were entered. The player can attack this base with as many as 300 of each troop that they own. There is a reset button to reset the base and refill your troop numbers.
If the player doesn't like the base that was found, they can press the next button for no charge.
Hopefully, this will give players the sandbox mode they have always wanted while eliminating the issues that prevented Supercell from implementing this idea.
Hope you enjoyed!

*EDIT: Just making sure it's clear that the base that you attack in Sandbox mode doesn't lose any loot or trophies!!!
