About Me-
Hello! My name is RorZ. I have been a player of Clash of Clans since the 24th of December, 2012.
Although my base hasn't grown much since then, my knowledge of CoC has. I downloaded this game on my brand new iPad on Christmas 2012, and was hooked. I, like lots of noobs, believed that upgrading your Town Hall was the best thing to put your gold into. This went on until TH 8, when I discovered the forums. My base, with mostly level 4 walls, level 4 defences, and a big TH 8 was very premature. I made my first thread on the forums in June 2013, asking how my base was. The replies were, as you would expect, people telling me my base was very premature, and to farm and get the defences up. Since then, I have been farming, and this is my base today!
Shortly after my first visit to the forums, I discovered the wonders of base building, and since then have constantly been trying to build 'The Best Base'.
Enough talk, let's get into the base.
Inspiration and Concept of This Base-
I played CoC when Jorge Yao dominated the leaderboards, staying in the number 1 spot constantly for several months. It was his TH 9 southern teaser which sparked my interest in them. Although this is my first public southern teaser, I have had a few others, including TH 8 ones. I would also like to pay a bit of credit to Orz, also known as Tempest, for his southern teaser 'The Nexus Core'. My base contains the same 'Nexus Bridge' as his.
The main objective of a southern teaser is to make one side appear weaker than all the others, but actually be a strong point. My base has equal strength on all sides, but the traps are focused at the bottom.
The Base and its Variations-
Ok, let's finally get to the base.
Here she isAs you can see, the base sports:-FARMING VERSION-
V1.1 (Spread Storages):
-TROPHY VERSION-
-A central CC
-Central DE
-Central and spread storages
-Central X-Bows
-Triangulated Mortars
-Spread Point Defences
-Funnelling
How it Works-
This picture shows you the path of giants when deployed at the top left.
First, the giants break into the first cannon section, take out the cannon, and move onto the wizard tower behind it. They follow the funnelling through to the next defence, and Air Defence. Spring traps are taking them out along the way, and Air Bombs and Seeking air mines will be taking out the healer healing them.
After the 4 consecutive spring traps, the giants will have significantly diminished, leaving only a few left. They will bash away at the walls, and will quickly get killed by the point defences.

Conclusion-
This base is my first public southern teaser. If you enjoyed reading this, and/or got some good use out of this base, don't forget to give this thread 5 stars, and share it with your friends.
Thanks for reading, everyone!
I'm out.

1: They deployed all their troops at the bottom. The CC, traps and defences made short work of them. The dragon got to an elixir storage but was quickly shot down.

Awesome job and nice introduction
