    Why Valkyries Are OP

    OK, I think that Valkyries are so underated, so I'm going to post some reasons on why Valkyries are actually Pretty good troops.
    1. They are deadly clan castle troops because: There splash damage can takeout troops with ease, there high health makes them unable to be taken out by lightning spells and they have a high damage per second.
    2. When they walk in bunches they can do devastating damage, I've even seen them destroy a pretty upgraded town hall 9 when there at level 4
    3. They are a good replacement for giants, they have as much health as a level 6 giant and do about 3 times as much damage.

    They might cost a bit too much but I'm sure that the above points more than compensate for it, Supercell aren't making the Valkyries target defenses because they would be too OP.

    Why they are not OP:

    They are expensive.

    Your example for excusing it is bad.

    A very good average troop is expensive.
    A advanced GPS missile, with small damage range, is expensive.


    Do one uses troops that are expensive unless they are specially good. Which the Valkeryie isn't.

    I had like 16 valks not even 20% my base as a th 9 not even counting cc troops as he blued spelled them valks are horrible troops you where so much better off doing golems and witches

    The best a mass max valk attack has done on my base is 22% so far (admittedly there have only been 2 attacks, as few use them, but both used L20+ heroes to rack up that crazy damage %). Let me know when they get so OP they might actually threaten to 1 star it, and I'll consider upgrading mine

    Maybe if you could attack properly, then you would get better results. I've easily 3 starred bases with mass valks.

    They are not OP right now. They are nothing compared to what hogs used to be. A solid anti hog setup now, and the high cost of hogs has pushed some, not all, away from being successful with them. I am anticipating valks getting some sort of boost in the next update. They are not in any way OP.

    They aren't OP, but they still are good defense troops...
    just that cost and time isnt cost efficient atm

    Not op but very good troops, i know ppl that use mass valks with jump spell in masters while they push and do it very effectively!

    Valkyries can be good CC troops but there performance is mixed and more importantly they just aren't much compared against 5 Wizards and 15 archers or 2 witches and some Wizard support. As a CC troop they have 1 very major problem, slow attack speed. Often a pair of wizards can have a Valkyrie biting the dust before she even winds up to use that great splash damage. I know as someone who tries to use her this is a huge handicap, as she attack so slow that she can often be chewed apart by a smart attacker.

    But I think 1 or 2 is good to have with other units. She does fairly well vs hogs and giants - but again that attack speed really needs to be faster for a unit specializing in clearing out troops

    A bunch of raging Valkyries should be feared but be waring of wizards in the CC. They can totally destroy a pack of Valkyries. But for kicks and giggles try a 3 jump spell and 2 rage attack sometime with Valkyries and Wizards. Very destructive.

    Valkyries mix in well with Giant/Healer, standing in for a few giants to bring that DPS up.

    I agree that if Valkyries targeted defenses they'd be way OP and make no sense as a unit (they are suppose to specialize in taking out units, so targeting defenses would be silly) but they need an adjustment. Reduced training time and cost would be a big help but something else as well


    I recommend


    1) Reduce her training time to a minimum of 8 minutes, tho I recommend as little as 4 minutes
    2) Reduce her cost to 120 DE when maxed, still spender than hogs but every bit helps
    3) Either increase her attack speed or make her 1st attack almost instantaneous. As someone who is experimenting with Valkyrie builds this would be huge. I don't know how many times her effectiveness at clearing out other troops would of been 100% better if she had not waited so bloody long for her 1st initial attack....
    4) Add a 5th level. Hogs, Minions, and Golems already have a 5th level - what are you waiting for? Make that fifth level give a good boost in HP (in particular)

    5) A frequent request is to give the Valkyrie the ability to gain some HP back when she attacks. Though not apart of my original recommendations for her, such a feature is frequently requested and would be a much better gimmick than splash damage. Since splash damage is featured by dragons, wizards, wall breakers, and balloons already.
