So it isn't exactly a trap. Its like a hole in the ground and you could capture any ground units that go onto it, even pekkas and you could use this like a clan castle, you could either use the troops for defense or offense, and it would have 20 spaces at first but then you could upgrade it 5 times for 2 spaces each time resulting in 30 spaces. But if its below level it couldn't capture golems or pekkas and they would just walk right over it.
And for the new troop, it should be a dark troop and it would be like a wizard. When you click on training it, it would give you the option of what type of spell it should use: Jump, Freeze, Rage, or Normal attack (more damage per second than regular wizard). There would be 4 levels and each level you could get an extra spell for it. In battle if at a level higher than one, it would use any spell that looks best for the current moment like if the troops were trying to get over a wall it would use the jump spell, or maybe if the units were attacking a certain building it would use rage to destroy it faster, and if it saw a defense building that was killing his allied troops, he would go and ignore the other buildings and go use a freeze spell on that tower and start damageing the building (normal wizzard attack) till its destroyed.
I like the idea and hope it happens but I think for your trap 20 is little to much. I think it would be more likely if it held 10 and added 5 each time like an armycamp.
