Justin's Friend Requests and Blocklist idea

The Current System

Here's how you currently add friends in Clash of Clans.

You either add them in Game Center or log in with Facebook. Your friends that play Clash will show up. This isn't very intuitive and involves you leaving the game.

BACK TO THE IDEA

Here's where my idea come in.
With my idea. If you wish to become friends with someone, All you would need to do is open the popup menu and press the new "Add Friend" button. This is available everywhere if there is a pop up menu.

Here's what it would look like in Global

If you wish to have real life friends. You can turn off Friend Requests in the friends menu.


As you may have noticed in my previous images, there is now a block button. This would also replace mute in Global. If pressed this would automatically block the person from sending friend requests and you would not be able to see its messages in Global


This is what it looks like when you get a friend request. It is very similar to a Clan Invite

The Blocklist
When you block someone, he/she will pop up into your blocklist. It is a button in Settings which you would press to see


You can press unblock to unblock them or unblock all to unblock everyone in your list if you feel forgiving.

We'll that's all folks! One of the longest idea threads I've ever written but still tiny compared to awesome guys like Mastermind and Saltin. The next area will be used for any Questions that need answering.

One thing:
What purpose would the blocklist serve?
If you hate someone just stay away from them or ask an elder to kick them out.

Yes there would be, I forgot to add it
It would serve as a replacement to the mute button in Global. He also cannot send clan invites to you or join your clan .

So would GC/Google+ work still??

Of course it would work, this is an addition to the current system. FYI: Currently Android users don't have a way of adding friends without Facebook

Just how do you do the supercell magic font bit with the border as i cant do it. i have the font btw

But one thing: on global, you say you tap the name and a friend option is there. What i would do is to put that option when you view the players profile. Because honestly i dont really want 2 new buttons (talking about block too). But thats just me, i could easily get used to it thought....

I know this doesnt have anything to do with the thread, but how do you do the visual changes that are shown in your pictures like the new buttons and menus.

I'm stuck on my tablet until august when we get our school computers back, my computer doesn't have photoshop. At the moment, I am only working on guides for beginners which has gone pretty well, but I feel you lol.
