Actually - no. To have a troop that draws the attention of Defending Towers would be useful.

I shouldn't bother to dispute this, how ever; raiding consists of strategies. Bait their Heroes and Clan Castle Troops, deploy troops to clear traps, and still take down either a portion, or their whole base. This is just a troop that helps you deploy all your troops in one spot. If you can tell me where that brings fun into raiding, feel free to elaborate.
