I managed to farm for my level 6 barbs, giants, arch (in that order) but gemmed some of te remaining time.
My army was usually one level 2 or 3 healer and 200 level 5 barbs. Duration was about 6 - 8 days for each.
Piece of cake I'm going for my last level 6 right now ballons and its easy I will have enough elixer in 1 day easy
I JUST started level 6 archers like 5 minutes ago. And the whole procresss took me the ENTIRE lab upgrade (5 days)
So i did 1.5 million elixir a day for 7.5 million in 5 days. I could easily do better because im in a lower trophy then alot of farmers at TH9. But GL im going for giants next

I farmed the Gaints and barbs. Took me all night with strictly archer armies. I gemmed the archer because 7.5 million is insane to me

It's not that hard. I had the 7.5m elixir saved up by the time my Lab 7 finished. Takes a lot of time and luck to be sure, but definitely not impossible.

While its not hard, it just tales time. You will have to be patient and just think that if it were easy, you would have Max troops instantly and have nothing to spend your elixir on. It gives you something to work for
