    War donations count

During the preparation day of clan wars, troops donated to clan members for defense are not added to the total list of troops donated by each member. However, as clan leader I spend a lot of troops for war defense, and later it looks like I do not donate that much. Moreover, since these troops do not count other clan members may only donate for attack and not for defense.

Hi locutus, welcome to the forums. I like what you are saying, however this can be easily exploited! People can donate giants, then get them dismissed and infinitely donating giants. This will boost people xp and level and help them achieve the friend in need achievement. Thank you for contributing

What about decreasing donation count if the troops are not accepted? Note that beginner clans will only have cheap troops. In more heterogeneous clans, if an advanced users receives cheap troops he doesn't want, he rejects them an the donation is reverted. It would also be nice for the person who did the donation to recover the elixir, if not the troops. He could choose to donate them to other person. Of course, this could lead to some trolling, but in the end trolls can be kicked out from the clan. A blacklist would also help to keep them away.

I understand what you are saying, but wouldn't it quite hard for the clash servers to remember EVERYONES donations?

I see. Well, there is a limit to the number of donations to remember, since the space in the castles is limited, and so it is the number of clan members. And once a donation is reverted, the register of the donation could be deleted. Max clan members is 50, and max troops is castle is 35. That makes 1750 troops that could have been donated during the preparation day of a war. The server should remember the source and destination of the donation an the type of the troop, times 1750 in the worst case. Probably some grouping could help, that's it, group in one register all the troops donated by a user to another one. Once the preparation day is over, all those regusters could be deleted. Yes, this will require more database power though it would be limited.

Yes but that is only 1 clan, there are more than 100,000 clans at war at the same time!

What about a separate counter for war donations? A new goal could also be added analogous to the "friend in trouble" goal: "war mate in trouble". In the end, what leaders need to know is whether donations are balanced for each clan member in order to kick cheap members out.
