    Lightbulb Tool Shed Desperately Needed!!!

With all the new tools and expandable areas in the village, there is a desperate need for a separate building to store our tools, maps, deeds and maybe even minerals. (Kinda like the tackle box!) After expanding the barn so far, we need to save an astronomical amount of tools to expand it more!! THERES NO ROOM TO SAVE!

    Good Idea!

Good idea, if this was a building it would be great. It makes the barn fill up too much

FRUSTRATED ! There needs to be a separate building(with unlimited storage) for items needed to expand around the farm / town !

Lightbulb Needs Sorting As Soon As Posible!!

The fact that all the tools are clogging the barn up is frustrating and needs to be sorted! Supercell are losing players because they can't be bothered to do anymore because of the barn...

Even if the barn was increased each time by 50 or 100 is better than 25 and I'm sure others wouldn't mind it. It would allow the extra space for the tools.

This is an idea that looks appealing but on the surface, but I personally don't think it'd make a better game. You'd have to make the decission between 1) an infinite size tool shed, which will mean an end to all sell of expansion materials in dd, which will *not* make the game better, or 2) a limited size tool shed, which need resources to upgrade, and then you are essentially just taking space out that would otherwise have been in the barn and could have been used for something else and saying now it can only be used for tools.

As frustrating as limited barn space is, it's challenges like that that motivates you to keep playing and keep striving for new items. If you remove all challenges in the game, you'll essentially reduce it to an endless circle of meaningless actions, and then you'll very quickly be fed up with it and quick.

    Angry

All storage should be unlimited, Silo, Barn, Tackle Box, etc etc. It literally takes for ever to gather all the required items in order to expand storage of any kind and once you get close, there is NO ROOM to collect. Unlimited storage is a MUST and should be implemented ASAP. Also, please, please, please itemize the dog gone broker, i.e. selling new paper. I want to be able to open the broker and search for just the one item I need. Having to go thru the entire thing is time consuming and the thing resets so fast, that you can not even get thru the entire thing. Devs, if you're reading this, please make this happen. It will make searching for certain items that much more easier and time will not be wasted having to TRY and get thru the entire thing before it resets in order to find just ONE specific item..

I can see what your saying, but sometimes the challenge of finding the space in your barn is just to challenging and therefore you stop doing anything with the game because you can't get anywhere.

I have heard a lot of complaints from people on here and in my neighbourhood, which shows its not just me whose frustrated.

Supercell could make the tool shed so that you can upgrade it with a choice of coins or materials which wouldn't clog it up, just like the Lobster Pool.

The Tool Shed could be available from level 50 or 60 as a reward for sticking with the game, and it would make it easier with all the new products.

This has been a very hot topic on the forums. Whilst I personally am very keen to see a new Tool Shed implemented by Supercell, I think Alcibiades raises some very valid points. The idea of having a tool shed with unlimited storage is short sighted and as Alcibiades has pointed out, would quickly reduce the challenging element of the game and make it rather tedious. I like the idea of having a Tool Shed to separate non food related stock from the ever growing selection of processed food stored in the Barn. This would also make it much easier to quickly take stock of items stored, as currently the Barn just too overloaded with inventory.

My suggestion for the future expansion of a new Tool Shed, would be to require a different combination of expansion items (eg Hammer, Hand Drill & Wood Panel). This would keep the game a little challenging and would likely increase the amount of trading between players and the sales of surplus tools in the RSS. I would also like to see TEMS made available to be found at the Farm so there is more continuity between each area.

There is room for improvement for sure, I'm just not convinced a tool shed is the correct answer. I do agree that at some point, upgrade requirements become almost unreasonable compared to payback, so the shift from +25 space to +50 space should probably come earler (500?) with another shift of +25 perhaps coming every next 500 or so.

But I think no matter what is done, that people will always be complaining. Progressively, as our barn grows, so does also the stocks we keep of every item, so that we always seem to fill barn to the brim, no matter how big it gets. I think that's quite natural, the richer we get, the more we want to save, and this is also encouraged by game (higher level = higher demands on orders = larger buffers needed).

On the bottom line, one has to ask, will it actually be more fun? If one imagined some way to implement the tool shed that would actually achieve what people wish for, namely that they are not tight on barn space, what will be the result? Probably they will just increase their stocks until barn is again is full, and we're back at status quo. Or even worse, imagine a case where limits are shifted so that people always have room to save items, and then the result will be the worst of all, namely a daily deal full of nothing but wheat and eggs ...

Ya see, if everyone does what I do (just keeping 10 of everything that you make) than not as many people would be complaining. But now you'll be wondering why I am complaining, well one simple reason I can't store the expansion stuff!!!

There could just be a little shed or building that stores the town expansion stuff in the town just like in the fishing area with the tackle box. But then we wouldn't be allowed to sell them. Which while their so rare they need to be able to sold to people in ya neighbourhoods.

There's a few ideas out there, but not one that's catching Supercell's eyes.
