Yes Axion does bring up a good point. If you make a base diagonal then surely you won't be able to put any of your buildings, because they are square not diagonal.....

You could possible double your wall defenses, or at least increase it by 50%, if you use all diagonal layout.

That aint gonna happen. Because The building are in square blocks and it cannot be rotated and wont fit if the square is made by joining the walls diagonally. So there is no way i can increase the wall defenses. The thing that i suggested will come in handy while joining two blocks togther diagonally.

Ahh.. Now you understand my point.!! BTW, thats true.. i just need this option to be available joining blocks while making ring type base..

I get what your saying, but you can already make circular bases. Have you ever seen those flower like th 9/10 base layout?

Yes. What i'm really saying is if this option is available we could save 15-20 walls while making the exact flower like bases. Coz currently the put walls in a zig zag manner to achieve a diagonal joint.
