I'm sure that every high level player remembers the days when their base looked absolutely... terrible. There was nothing like those hideous gold walls mixed bright green of the grass, or the orange town hall mixed with the grey wizard towers. I hated it. I know that other people hated it too. But maybe, just maybe, if you could modify what the colours of your base looked like, you wouldn't hate having to stare at your base for hours on end. If you don't like what it looks like, why would you continue with the game? Another example would be, if you went on a date with a girl and you absolutely did not like her or she was just absolutely atrocious, why would you continue to date her? In Counterstrike: Global Offensive, you can get different skins for your weapons. Some you have to buy and some you earn. A similar system could be made with clash of clans. You could buy skins or you could earn them in the game. And there can be standard colour sets so everyone can modify their base, even if it's just a little bit. If this could occur, everyone wins. People play more clash and can personalize their base so they want to play more, there will be more things that people will work to get, people can get prestigious skins to show their prowess in the game and there can be limited time skins so people will want to play every day. I'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks.
