How do you know for sure this th9 got the most trophies?
Started the game in January and three days later became a member of Zombie brains, the only clan I ever been in. Town hall eight since April 16th.
Wars won, 86. War hero,543 stars
Don't speed upgrade your town hall, being a level nine or ten does not help you if you have gold walls or lower.
Because having that many trophies would put you on any local leaderboard for the world to see. And back before people started trying for it 3800 wouldve gotten you on global.

In all reality there is no way for anyone on the forums (outside of community managers) to know the answer to that for sure. Everyone's always saying 'this guy is the record holder for xxx.' Because they want recognition for their achievements, while in reality it's possible the record is higher than they know.
