1st one. the 2nd one you shaded the tag too much. the second one, the shading is touching the text and render. for the 1st one, to make it better, shade the right side too. but don't touch the render. then add a light source. erase some light on the render. its too much.

text is in a good spot. how did you did the tiny text?. btw some colors on the background don't fit the render.
like pink and purple. I think you should a border

I actually didn't shade any of them and have no clue on how to do that. I just got the darkness effect from lots of Overlays and Dark backgrounds. The tiny text is actually a text brush. You can download some from deviantart and the pink/purple is the result of the brighter tag in the 1st pic.

Haha yea. That's why we get extremely upset when the person we make it for trashes it within a few days. It takes a lot of time and effort to produce quality.
