The above is partially correct. Once you log off & close app, it takes about 30 seconds or more then it goes into matchmaking.

I have tried revenge a friend who is active online & logging off but after pressing the revenge button for a few times, his base was then under attack from someone from the search queue. Revenge is achievable if that person lost the raid without giving a shield which is at < 40%.

But what Balam saying is revenge might be achievable if the person rode the 12/16hrs shield then go for auto defence once it expire. Will have to try it to find out.

It's a full 2 minutes. I abused this in champ so I didn't have to pay as much attention to stay logged in.

I say we wait 2 weeks then come back to this. If the top10-200 have ridiculous defense numers, then there is an exploit being used. Or if PR passes 4800 and holds the 1 defense win per day(absurdly high in top200). Then we bring this up to Supercell.

Yup he won his first defence of the season I guess. Is quite rare to win defence frankly but I ever won a defence with shield from a top player & rewarded me +34 cups. Mistake will cost you in Champ league.

It may or may not be an exploit, but I'd be willing to wager that Supercell is aware of a potential exploit that's been on the front page of general for half a day (with some evidence to back it up, no less). On another note, if this is legit, I wonder how long people spent trying to figure it out?

well it's possible... pr has 4 defense wins so far which would means 2 shielded days if they ride out the full shield plus the 6 hours online before a mandatory break in between shields. adding another 24 hours. 3 days of shield so far in a little more than 3 days into the current season... sounds fishy

Yeah it's starting to get fishy. I was originally saying 'probably not' at the start of this thread but after watching the 4th defense happen on the leaderboards I'm more open.

I had(and still have) no idea who the OP is and what his experience with top200 or the shenanigans of the top10 are so I began by doubting everything but I trust Jacko to have an idea what may be going on.

Si, it is possible.
And legitimately too.
Once every 1000 years, the SuperCell gods match you with every conceivable stupid mistake that an attacker can make
& your base wins!

But the <40% wins are the WORST kind
- because, if you don't log back in immediately (i.e. sleeping, doing things that well, life requires you to do),
your base is fresh for the picking with NO heroes and NO CC.

Actually happened to me twice last week,
and I was late to log in for one of them.
