As long as there are teoops within the trigger radius of the cc troops wil pour out, but if defenders kill all the troops inside the trigger radius then the remaining troops will stay inside the cc until more troops reach the trigger radius. Any troops out of the cc will move towards closest troops you have deployed, regardless of range. Troops will come out of the cc in order, first regular troops in the order they are in barracks and then dark troops in barrack order. If you multiple of the same troop but different level the lowerlevel troops will come out first.

From my experience, it has always been like that both in CW & Multi-player. This is why some people choose to have lower housing troops like archers so that it takes longer/more troops to lure the entire CC.

Ok you have to be pulling our leg now cause I totally laughed out loud when I read this I need to see the replay. My guess would be you dropped a different troop on the opposite side that drew her attention.
