I don't really agree with that, farming is all about efficiency - I set myself a gold target and if I need to use jump or rage to exceed that target minus the cost of the spell then why not?

Precisely. If that rage/jump/heal spell has a high potential to get you a lot more gold back than the cost of the spell, then by all means do it. I do carry 2 lightning (level 4) and 2 rage spells (level 1), but rarely use both unless i'm raiding DE. Still, I find level 1 rage good enough for now.

Why would you upgrade your rage spell so early? It's too expensive for farming. Level 1 is already very effective.

The 14K difference has not hindered my farming at the slightest.. It's always the fun to see a raging goblin swarm vaporizes a base.

So I was upgrading my archers to level 5 and in the lab it said arch. Has this specific problem occurred to anyone?

That's providing you only need 1 rage spell. The area of effect is limited and doesn't guarantee results.

Goblins are already very fast, and deal 2x damage on resources.
No matter how strong your rage spell, a maxed Goblin will still get 1 shot by a maxed Mortar/Wiz Tower.

Totally agree i use jump spell alot with my snot colour speed demons, im not the best wb tactician get it wrong sometimes so jump is defo in the back burner if i need from time to time. As long as the gold yield is worth the spell then why not Hows the rabbit food diet going daddy? Lol

As a farmer i'm not against using spells but as a TH9 I find it really difficult to justify using Rage5 for looting with. For the most part I can almost get most loot without using the spells anyway. I upgraded my spells mainly cause i'm a farmer by name but still want the option to trophy hunt once in awhile too.
