As a pretty experienced TH 9, I've probably spent about 100-125$. I don't think that's a lot due to the fact I'm dedicated to the game and have been playing for over 1.5 years.

500 gems + 2500 gems for extra builders £17. to me that's like buying a game so its not to bad, only issue i have now is that i have so many idle builders.

Been playing since October 2012 and I've forgot exactly how much I've spent.
I think it's either $70 or $75 though total, or at least not too far off anyway.
