Keeping it short and sweet (compared to mastermind’s posts)
This one is for supercell
Why not make a new sub forum called surveys
These surveys could be on a range of ideas you people at HQ have been thinking about.
Basically the system is…
All moderators can post a new survey on that forum and when someone goes onto the forums they will see a notification telling them that e.g. 4 surveys were added while you were gone.
Everyone is allowed to vote (except for people who are banned) including other moderators.
Moderators can post a maximum of 20 questions on a survey. All questions will be yes or no or a number rating question.
At the end of the survey you will be allowed to see the average number rating for every question or a bar graph that shows responses to yes/no questions.
Moderators will have a 24hr cool down system to make sure their is no spamming from moderators.
This is so that if a moderator sees a good idea, then he can make sure that it gets shown across the whole CoC community so that they judge this idea. All this will do is help good ideas that no one ever sees become big ones as their will be all the moderators who can now find good ideas and make them known to the CoC community.
Moderators can ask a range of CoC questions in the survey as long as has been thought of by someone and received positive feedback in their own thread.
Moderators can post their own ideas as long as they have posted it on a thread and it has received positive feedback.
All survey questions must refer to the original thread so that people can check if it has received good feedback.
On surveys all feedback is accepted as long as their is no cussing or bad-mouthing.
Any moderator who abuses these rules should be banned from making surveys for a period of time
Things I’m not too sure about:

  • Should it be moderators who make the survey or … please make suggestions
  • How long should the cool down system last for?
  • How many questions do you reckon their should be in the survey?
  • Should the survey look like the polls where you click your favourite ideas (with a maximum amount of options - undecided)
  • If it were to look like a poll, how many options are you allowed to vote for.
  • Should their be a time limit in a survey?
  • If moderators take advantage of this and make stupid surveys what rules should be made to prevent this?
  • If a moderator abuses this system how long should they be banned for



Please give me your opinions on this idea.
