Someone could have used your device and break it?
You don't have to attack to break it btw, you could have just hit "find a base and hit comfirm
You are not the first to say that he got attack even when he had a shield, it wouldn't surprise me if it is a bug

Uhh, there is this other case in which people don't get attacked for days, but then again, no way to prove any of this is a bug or a causality
