I totally get the point of the post and all that supported it. After all, how could anyone not want COC on their phone?
But instead of voting on this poll I think folks need to vote by buying (and be willing to live with) a windows phone. Until such time as more people are willing to do that you can't blame SC for not wanting to expend the cost of supporting the platform until it can generate enough profit to pay for that cost.
plz plz plz plz plz plz clash of clans for windows phone
So there is a game for facebook and all mobile devices call cloud raiders... same exact concept and is generating quite the revenue from the windowsphone users... There is also the well known game Minecraft the is now available on all devices except for those that have died or are not mainstream accepting from other developers (IE: Nintendo, Blackberry, ect.). Currently they have more money coming in from the one time payment game on PC and little DLC on xbox and playstation, as well as the main phones out there such as Windowsphone, android, and iOS that they don't know what to do with it... also since the game is owned by microsoft now, the original developers are now really well off... and considering the fact that making updates is actually quite easy if you already have the game made for the devices it is easy to transfer and do updates to them... iOS, Android, and windowsphone all support C++, since C++ is very similar to Java it is easy to convert between the two... This is coming from someone who has 7 years of programming experience in Java, C++/C#, LabView, PHP, HTML, MYSQL, and basic assembly for automated processes such as robotic claws...Trust me it is worth missing an update or two and get the game for an expanding device, than to get more updates that overwhelm and break some peoples saves (Trust me i have like 3+ friends that have lost parts and pieces of their save, such as trees and rocks because of the game update.)I know the difference between people that are willing to expand or ones that are just wanting profit... the most that needs to be paid for is the servers to run the saves and interactions, website, staff, etc. it is not as much money that is being spent vs what they are receiving... this is not opinion but factual, most companies stay with what they know but miss out on huge opportunities. Don't be this company that takes and makes updates so often that it will be futile for players to have any fun. (IE: updates every week... updates should be slow and steady not fast and greedy.)
Windows Phone has a fantastic exclusive game called "Age of Empire Castle Siege". It is in many aspects better than CoC like nice non-childish graphic and enviroment/direct control over units in wars/realistic historical theme ,... and I actually prefer it. but there is no reason why this popular game (CoC) shouldn't be in Windows Phone. I support it but won't be playin' it.
I have no idea about this, but I can analyze it a bit: According to Wikipedia, Windows Phone is the fourth popular Mobile operating system after Android, iOS and Symbian, with about 2.38% phones on the world. This number is extremely smaller than Android (47,06%) and iOS (43.86%). Otherwise, developing on Windows Phone is much harder than iOS and Android. If Supercell wants to do a new update for Clash of Clans, they will need to develop it on all these operating systems so it will be much longer to see a new update. With that effort, Supercell can do a lot other things for current players.

Actually, windows phone is loosing it's grip on the market, declining % of market share from 3.3% to 2.7%
