So I see a lot of complaints about ghosting but hardly ever any solutions to fix it. I know Supercell is probably working on a way to fix it but it's taking awhile so I was thinking of a way to possibly solve it. Now, I know nothing about coding so I don't know how feasible this is compared to what they have planned but hear me out.
I propose that the clan war battles have captchas. You know those things that pop-up when you register on a website to type the letters and/or numbers you see as a measure to check to see if you are a robot? Well the same principle would be applied to the clan war battle. Once you click attack, you'll need to enter in the code that appears. Everyone has a certain number of attacks and thus, they will also have the same number of captchas. Therefore when they type in the captcha for the attack, they have essentially used up one attack. This way, if they disconnect during the fight so the result is not recorded, it will not matter as the captcha would have already been used. This makes their previous attack moot and it's also a good way of somewhat exposing these poor sports.
This may inconvenience people who legitimately lose their connection during a clan war battle but honestly, if you're playing an internet-based game like this, it's kind of expected you have a decent connection. And it wouldn't apply to regular raiding anyway so it wouldn't disrupt normal game-play. This is just a suggestion to fix the clan war feature. Let me know what you think.
