Give leaders and co's the ability to remove troops from a war CC

As the title says, it would be a very helpful addition if leaders and co's had the ability to remove bad troops from the war cc of an offline player, so as to replace them with more appropriate troops. It would be helpful to not have to hang around hoping they log in to delete a bad CC donation.

    Yes please
This would be good, and it's hard to see the downside

Hard to see the downside? Maybe that trolling co-leaders would keep removing everyone's cc troops without anyone knowing who it was, similar to how they used to be able to start wars and lie about it at will.

Yeah. You can't have power like that given to leaders or co leaders. Read the threads people make about being mad about leaders and co leads kicking players at will. I've experienced in my clan. You have to expect the worst of people.

I acknowledge that there is a potential for trolling co-leaders here... however there is a great deal of benefit to be had as well in circumstances where the leadership is actually trying to benefit the membership. Unfortunately nearly every element of some measure of additional capability is subject to mis-use.

My thinking is that if you can't trust you're leaders and co's to be actually working for your and the clans benefit, then you are probably in the wrong clan.

Take it a step back even further.

My clan knows not to donate unwanted to troops to BEGIN with. So there should be nothing to drop, except if someone accidentally finger slips and pressed the wallbreaker button by accident. Otherwise, everyone in my clan gets what they ask for in their war bases, same should go for your clan if the members all know how to read and are respectful.

Secondly, why do you have inactive players in a war? give them the boot, they're wasting precious attacks that could be helping your clan win the war!

all other things aside, this will not happen so its not really worth discussing. Players have ability to remove troops from war cc now. If player is inactive during war just kick them. Otherwise what your basically doing is allowing clans to have a bunch of inactives who are still able to particpate in war nominally.

Players can already dump unwanted troops from their war CC.

My clan also generally does fairly well with this... however every few weeks, a newer recruit does start goofing. If one thing has been confirmed by supercell, its that troop donations to war CC's have historically been a problem.

In answer to your second question, I'm not talking about inactive players... they would be booted. I'm referring to circumstances where you have high level donators and clan members operating in different time zones. Giving the leader some ability to remove an incorrect donation by a new recruit in order to provide what was requested is the idea I'm discussing. Have you never had to come online at a time you wouldn't have otherwise, trying to be available to members from different time zones?

In answer to the next guy... no, this wouldn't really allow a clan to have "inactives" participate any differently than they do when they already receive CC donations.

Players have 24 hours to get ready for the war, including dumping bad donations and getting new ones so whatever time zone your in you have plenty of time to prepare, and yes it would allow leaders to make inactives more effective in CW as they could dump bad donations for them and give them good ones. but like i said before, CoC would never implement something like this, so id move on. Sorry if you expected everybody to excited about this idea and they are not, but its not a good idea.
