You don't have to gem, I am a happy th8 lvl 72 easily getting to crystal 2-1 and i havent spend anything on this game, you just need some time, like any game

This is by far the cheapest hobby i had. Spent only $30 into it.
I play mmorpgs, Warhammer 40k, MTG (Magic the gathering).
All of these are significantly more expensive.
I've sent $120 on 4 cards in MTG because for decks, albeit it was used in all my decks from then on.
Starter army for 40k will run you over $100.
MMORPGS $15 a month + cost of game, expansions etc.
I know this is a mobile game but gems price isn't too much.
Just go out 2-3 less times out for fast food, or Starbucks.

Gem prices are just fine, I've only spent $4.99 (+ tax) on gems so far. And if we didn't buy gems, or the prices were lower, then Supercell wouldn't have quite as much money to use on these awesome games in the first place.

It costs a cent per gem.. That is not expensive at all the deal gets to less than a penny later on too.
Their gems, their prices maybe they will have a sale someday. It's human nature to whine about prices.
