I thought maintnance breaks gave shields. It kicked me off the game, and I left the game open for a while to have dinner. (My iPad was charging and has auto lock off) aaand when I come back... Bam. I'm being raided. Since I had it on the game with the break sign on, there is no way I got raided unless I got raided right after the break in between the game loading time, and I thought you got a small shield.

If everyone got a small shield after a Mainenance Break, then nobody would be able to attack after Maintenance. It's like increasing Maintenance time for no good reason.

seems like some are on maintinance breakes and some are not i havent seen one so you were most likely attack by someone like me . thought maint breaks were world wide ????

They disable attacks for maintenance breaks, but I didn't get one
Some people did, I think IOS users are getting one

Take it easy there, "break sign on" means that the game states that there is a maintence break on and you should try again in X amount of time when you try to open the game during maintenance. It is the sign that blocks you from loading your village
