Ever since clan wars came out, everyone wants one thing in common : Ability to opt out inactive players in the war (either themselves or leader).
So, this has lots of problems that people have so I figured a way in which there is no abusing possible.
When the leader/co-leader starts a war, rather than the preparation phase, a new phase starts : the selection phase. Here the clan leader/coleader and choose certain people to become spectator for the war. But every member has the option to opt in for the war. So if you opt in for the war, then the leader cant choose to have you as spectator. Even if you are aldready chosen, you automatically enter the war if you opt in.
So the number of players in the war are : those who have opted in, and those who have now been opted out by leader/coleader. Thus no leader can stop people from joining war due to bias, and can also opt out inactive players. This would cause the people in the war to be active, so that wars are much more fun. If a person is opting in and not attacking(without reason), then he can be kicked by leader as he made the clan lose stars. This phase takes 12 hours(everyone can play the game atleast once in 12 hrs).
The war then begins searching with the new list of players(must be more than 10). The rest of the war goes on the same with one small change.
Everyone can scout the opponent and donate troops. When a person is ready and is satisfied with troops, he/she can choose and option "I'm ready".
If everyone in a clan war chooses this option(we have active members only) then the opponent clan gets the message on the war page "Opponent Clan Ready".
When both clans are ready, the battle phase begins. This would keep active people in the war, inactive people out of war and people who dont want to take part and ask their leader and take a break from wars. Also, the 24 hours used on prep. day will reduce IF everyone is ready.
