I'm near to 100 level9 walls.
My heros are level 10 and 12.
my traps are basically maxed like only 1 left.
my normal barracks are on level8 and will never be upgraded.
my dark barracks are on level4 and i'm wondering whether to unlock witches or would it ruin my trend ?

My friend who happens to be a th10 is away on vacation and while he's gone he wants me to farm for him... Farming as a th10 is nothing like a th9 i average 7m+ gold a day when farming gold(currently am and got 9m today) but on the th10 account i raided about the same amount of times but only got around 3m gold today. Farming as a th10 is much slower and harder as a th9 because you have to build big armies to raid other th10's storages... You should 100% max th9... I know i am

Then DON'T UPGRADE. The same TH 8 offering 270k will offer you 140k if you're a TH 10.

Have to say I'm getting a little bit fed up of TH10.
Finding a decent raid takes ages, upgrades are expensive and take so long to complete. It's just not fun, and that is the ultimate point of the game. I've recently started another account on an old ipod with a cracked screen. I'm actually considering dumping my TH10 account and just running my other account on the ipad.
If you're enjoying TH9 and you are happy to carry on with the walls/heros I would stay there.
Bottom line:
If you are active, stay at th9 till everything is max except for heroes
If you are not active or really bored of the game, go to th10 but it has a ton of consequences and might cause you to stop playing.
My honest opinion as a max th10 (gemmer/350m gold grab): TH10 farming is viable when you have two infernos, and you are farming above 2000 with fast armies or above 2300-2600 with lvl6 balloons and lvl5/6 minions. You will not gain as much resource as a th9 but you will be safe by most attacks but vunerable to experienced raiders/high heroes
im currently farming walls 2600-2800, 300-400k gold (including league bonus) and 2k-4k de each raid but each raid is about 45 mins wait.
Im also farming on my th8 and th7, and life is so easy there. TH10 is no joke

I'm still TH9 and after upgrading way to early im determined to upgrade as much as possible. I would seriously consider upgrading all your barracks. If you don't use them that's ok but you may need them in the future and it is best to get them out of the way. It also sounds like you haven't upgraded all of your troops either.
I'm not convinced on upgrading walls to the max tbh. I get attacked by things that jump them, fly over them or lvl6 wallbreakers......
I do like witches. When I'm attacked by them they tend to set off all my bombs before other things get there
They look pretty effective but I'm not that experienced in using them ... yet!
