Each troops when upgraded to lvl 7 (or 1 more lvl than max) should have special abilities. Or they could be upgraded for like 2 days like you are boosting them but for reasonable price. Each troop automatically has the power so they aren't like heroes where you have to activate them. Let's get straight to it!!
BARBARIAN: barbaric attitude- when barbarians get 10% health they grow angry and get sort of raged for themselves
ARCHER: Eagle eye- archers can shoot from 1 more tile away and shoot their arrows cannon-like speed (like a line drive)
GOBLIN: greed- goblins regenerate 4% of their health while attacking resources
GIANT: meet shield- defenses target giants so like instead of the healer the archer tower will attack the giants even if it was already attacking the healer
WALL BREAKER: lucky crack- the wall breaker will "find the weak crack in walls" and have a 20% chance of completly destroying a wall no matter the lvl or hitpoints
BALLOON: double bomb- 10% chance to drop 2 bombs at once instead of 1 every hit.
WIZARD: alchemy- 1 in every 4 shots wizard mixes in miniature spell which include static (weak lightning spell that doesn't come from the air), health powder ( like a small dose of health to nearby troops), and ice shard (that freezes target for 1 second)
HEALER: Life bubble- when healer dies her bubble pops and explodes in a small radius dropping health onto nearby troops (like a healing spell for 2 seconds and health depends on lvl of healer)
DRAGON: legendary dragon- 1 in 3 chance of dropping legendary dragon - dragon looks awesome, is bigger, targets defenses, is a little stronger, but a little slower
PEKKA: non claustrophobic trait: pekka takes up 22 spots instead of 25
DARK ELIXER TROOPS
MINION: screech- will screech sinchronizingly every 6 seconds which averts the attention away from the minions
HOG RIDER: pig fury- 15% chance of when hog rider gets hit the pig increases speed for a couple seconds because pig gets angry and runs faster
VALKYRIE: whirlwind blow- every 4th attack has a whirlwind blow which does a large area (3x) of splash damage instead of normal area affect
GOLEM: like father like son- golemites have slightly more hitpoints and have higher damage per second
WITCH: dynamic summonees- not only does the witch summon sword skeletons but can also summon weak archer skeletons and also rarely summon like a lvl 1 or 2 wall breaker basically
