best way to trophy farm in crystal 3 as th8?

lvl 5 archers, barbs, giants, and wizards. but how do i get more trophies to push to masters?
i use 50-50 archer barb mix but it hardly works

Try using Dragons, Hogs, GoWiPe, BArch or Town Hall sniping. All strategies should get you to Master league. Oh yea, and Balloonion.

As a TH7 I barched my way through C 3 and much of 2 --- when I hit C 1 I had to add a dragon to the mix to finish the deal. If I would have had level 5 troops it would have been a lot easier.....

Never had a problem with it till I got to mid C1 --- obviously you can only attack bases that have 50% or more outside of walls or some stuff close enough for archers. A quick look at most TH8s will tell ya if 50% is out, if not it's next. A lot of 8s I had to bypass because of gold guns or up --- they are murder on lvl 4 troops, with lvl 5 I could have gotten there quicker. I chose barch and modified barch (added 2 dragons) because I didn't want to spend hours waiting for 'big-time' armies to train....

TH9 is when defenses and normal stuff inside surpasses 50% --- something like 41 bldgs inside and 31 out unless he's a new 9 and still redesigning his base. That's not to say that 8s cannot have more than 50% in --- just locate the collectors, builders, spell factory, etc and if they're outside you should get 1 star almost all the time.

As a TH8, mass dragon + 3 lightnings or maxed hogs + heals, but I would recommend dragons over hogs at TH8.

Attack other TH8 bases with weak air defences...lightning the AD furthest away from your dragon deployment...optional is using one less dragon and adding 20 minions, to clear some of the outside buildings before your deploy your dragons.
