Could you please add a button in the "Edit War base" environment with which is possible to copy/recall the standard base configuration. It would be very useful when you heavily modify the standar base after an upgrade of the Town Hall.

Seems like a very useful feature to me. Since elixir, gold and dark storage doesn't need to be protected in a clan war base, I will always have a different configuration for my war base and regular game base, but the differences might be subtle and designing a new base after you get 25 to 50 new walls and a few new defensive buildings is a process that would be nice to only do once for both regular game base as well as war base. I like it.
