Of Chill Reputations - a Neighborhood built for the sake of Reputation Points

One spot currently open,

Emphasis obviously is on the town, we have 7 players who are town level 20 and above and most are in the middle to high teens level players so usually a good amount of people to pick up. There are active people in town in different time zones (not just active in their farm). We welcome all town level players.

Because there is no chat, you are not missing out on anything in having it turned off. Any decisions, information, general talk is at "of chill reputation" NH pages, although there is no requirement for you to check in there, it is helpful.

Please read 'let the music play' rules and reply here. I like it as it's very clear what is and isn't expected of you with the upfront couple of simple rules.

There's been a change to our "how to join" rules posted on the first page of this thread. Before, I asked prospective members to post their farm name in this thread. A very insightful member of our NH clued me in to the fact that sometimes switching NHs can be a delicate business. Or that some people may prefer to keep the name of their NH private. It might be very difficult for some players to post their intention to join here publicly.

So, from now on, if you want to join Of Chill Reputations, there are two options:

1/ post your farm name in this thread

-or-

2/ send me a forum private message with your farm name

I joined this neighbourhood after having tried several where there were constant demands. This one is drama free and because we don't communicate in game can enjoy playing peacefully. We can keep chat off!! My neighbours are quick to help and most wait to advertise so that we have a chance to shop in each other's RSS's. There is a "no raid" rule so even that is respectful.

In spite of the no chat rule, we are a tight community and are getting to know each other through group communications here.

A number of you have sent requests to join our neighbourhood and haven't yet been accepted. One of the prerequisites for acceptance is that you need to post here first or alternately, send a private message to Let The Music Play so we know you have read and understand the rules.

If, after reading the rules and expectations, this sounds like how you'd like to play come and join us!!

Although in some respects I enjoy the chat and being able to get items I need, rep points are far more important to me. Furthermore, I just left a hood for reasons of personal stress over such exact points - I was asked for items and then given hell later, albeit in private but no less demeaning. I am a huge giver but have had it with that end. Would just as soon put my extras in RSS and whoever gets them gets them. And the good stuff I guess I can trade in forums.
