Actuallyyyyyy.... It takes more than half a year to max all defenses from start to finish without gems. Thats not including walls or heroes....so, Sounds like you should max your collectors and gold mines, oh and dont forget de drills!!!! Do that first... It is essential. And dennn?!?!?!.... Dennnnn you should make the rage quit base... Im sure someone will link it for you if needed. But to give you a visualization... It is a base that allows your resources to be very close together. Any splash damage should be very far away. Good luck !!!

Don't look at the big picture. Just focus on the next 5 Levels at a time. I'm slowly getting my King up one, and then my Queen up one. Slowly but surely they will reach Level 40. Won't be in one day that's for sure.
