I just deleted this game and here's why!

I don't really have much knowledge of the game to counter that but 2 million gold was kind of a hard grind for me at th7.

As others have mentioned, you need to work on a more efficient farming army.
I have a second account "Barefury" (same clan) that just hit TH7 and as a TH6 I was able to fill up my 2M gold/elixir in three or four hours without boosting. He'll be rocking gold a LOT faster as a TH7 with the extra barracks/camp
You have to fully upgrade your archers/barbs and camps, but I simply used two barracks full time archers, and one camp full time barbs as a TH6 and will do 3 barracks archers 1 barracks barb as a TH7.
The strategy is simple. Just next until I find a base with 100k/100k or better that's on the outside and in the 1200 trophy range there are quite a few bases with full collectors so it's super easy. It's kind of ironic, but I can almost farm gold faster on my TH6 (now TH7) account than I can on my TH10 with maxed troops.

If you're building giants/healers/etc then you're not farming efficiently and it will be a grind. I log into my Barefury account once a day to collect mines and every 3 or 4 days spend a couple hours raiding to fill his storages up. I then ride those for several days with upgrades and have been keeping 5 builders going full time with very minimal play time. Full disclosure on Barefury I'm not building any walls, so that takes away the need for extra gold but it's my second account so I don't play it that much.

If you're not getting enjoyment out of the game, by all means put it down. However, if you would like to have a better experience try shifting over to a more efficient farming strategy.

Th7 is when u start making tons of loot easy in the 900-1200 cup range 100-400k all the time if anything it would get u to play more so weird this guy hasn't gotten into the game yet it's just starting for him like hitting max lvl in wow.

more people need to quit the game. Free loot for the rest of us who know how to raid properly and not cry when someone powerful than you destroys your base. It happens to me all the time. I just raid a few more bases to make up for the loss. Not a big deal, but if you are finding it difficult at th7 which is THE best th for farming considering you are safe from th9 and th10s as they can only get 50% of your available loot.

so OP, I have no idea how someone with level 6 troops, meaning a th9, is raiding significant resources from you, as they will not be able to do so. LOOT penalty is there for a reason.

You don't have to spend money to be successful in Clash of Clans. Yes spending money does expedite your progress but it's not needed. There have been quite a few people who have maxed out Town Hall 10 without spending money. There has also been a lot of people who have reached Champions League without spending money.


If someone is raiding you with level 6 troops it means they are at least TH9. If you're TH9 the most they can take from you is what, 100,000 gold? Or 110,000? I remember as a TH7 I always hoped a TH9-10 would raid me in stead of another TH7 due to loot penalties.

TH7 is still the happy, easy and stress free days of the game, it only gets worse from there, so I think you have probably done the correct thing in deleting.

I've played games in the past where the damage was permanent and months of work and cash input could/would be totally and irreversibly destroyed in a matter of minutes. So in comparison I can say that as a happy go lucky farmer this game seems very tame.

Learn from the players attacking you and do it to others or quit 😎

I am a Townhall 9 with maxed out townhall 8 defense.. I never bought gems.. But, I have a great base, it is because of "FARMING"..

OP, if you ever think of coming back, a few tips,
-drop trophies down to a lower league. There are few th9s in silver 2.
-use a fast building army, e.g. all barbarians and archers. go for exposed collectors or add giants and wallbreakers to make a storage army.
