I knew I wouldnt come across many people who lived long enough to see their balls drop, but damn is tha even english? All i can say is that yes, I did get th7 in a month. Didn't rush either. I like seeing defense replays but when people start breaking out level 6 troops I just head out to apps and drag CoC to the trash bin cause that's just a sign of an imbalanced game.

I don't really have much knowledge of the game to counter that but 2 million gold was kind of a hard grind for me at th7.

You could've just as easily made that using a barch plus wbs. Or added some giants to that, and wouldn't have made 2 hour cook time

It was the spells mainly. Could go with any composition but without my spells I wouldnt be able to tickle the outer wall with any comp I cooked up/found.

TH 7 offers the very best loot ratio in the game, if you cannot stay online to avoid attacks, than compromise. Drop more trophies and/or leave a town hall outside of base, seems like you got your work cut out for you. As a few others have suggested, should be using cheaper and faster armies. Lastly, it doesn't require gems to max out th 8 or 9.

You don't have to pay to play. Leave your town hall outside your base unprotected so people give you a shield while you sleep or are away from the game. Only protect your resources. Don't worry about winning battles or trophies, just attack for resources using quick troops until you build a strong base. Do a search on the forum for farming topics, there's heaps of info on it all.

Hey Supercell, your app game was like one of three apps which held my attention span for more than 2 minutes at a time and I spent about a month playing it with a bunch of friends. Got up to lvl 51 with a th7 town hall.

I would just like to use this post to just mention how absolutely soul crushing it is to see your hard work lost in the blink of an eye from someone who pays to win this game. My defense log is filled up with me losing hundreds of thousands of gold to people, some of whom have up to level nine town halls. How is this allowed, Supercell? Why must I pay money to get any enjoyment out of your game? I refuse to grind any longer, that Barbarian King grind was one of the worst I've ever done in any game I've played since MMOs like Everquest come out. Then after acquiring him it takes 12,500 more dark elixir to get four more dps on him. I heard there were forty levels. You guys are sadists. Moreso for allowing people 40 levels above me and level 6 troops to steamroll my base with the clearly flawed and broken trophy system that prevents anybody but paytowin kids from succeeding in.

For the record, I was grinding to town hall level 8. Started today with 1.5 million gold, got up to 1.8 million gold now i'm back to 1 million IN UNDER 24 HOURS. It takes me two hours to make an army that guarantees a victory and almost 150k elixir for it. On a good day, I can get up to 200k on a raid at my absolute luckiest. And then 3 minutes after turning off the app I'm attacked and lose that all. If the kid is feeling really sadistic he'll only get my storages than quit before he gets one star so I can be repeatedly attacked. That process was repeating for three damn days now, and I've just given up and uninstalled this pay to win game. I haven't spent a cent on this game and I'm SO happy I decided not to. I also refuse to spend months waiting for my collectors to do anything so I can progress 500x slower than the kids who pay.

If there was any enjoyment you guys could get out of this game anymore everybody, I clearly have run out of it. Sick of grinding and being enticed to pay to win just like the rest of the credit card wielding kids, goodbye everyone. I guess i'll try out all the other clones that have done this formula way better for people who decide to not shell out 100$ here and there.

If you're having this much trouble playing the game you're doing it wrong. Just stick your town hall outside your walls and, boom, free shield from the first person who sees your base. For the record, I don't pay for gems, other than my builders, and it's been totally fine. Why don't you go play candy crush. That might be more your speed.

Listen, some people DO spend gems at this game. But the amount of respect and satisfaction you get from not using them is incentive enough to not use them. Everybody has bad luck sometimes, and it WILL get better.
