It's an old glitch.

Yes, when the village edit mode first came out, there was a problem where you could stack structures. It was fixed fairly quickly as far as being able to replicate it, but... if you had stacked buildings, until you move them again, they have remained.

No it's not. the old glitch had the black patches still on the ground, and when someone attacked, the graphics remained but troops would destroy the shadow. In his attack the things were actually there.

There was that glitch as well, but was a different one than the edit mode stacking.

Hard to take this as legit as the picture is cropped leaving out vital information. Visited him and his base does not display the stacking bug.

It might just be his war base, but I assure you I did not edit it.

so basically, all the inanimate towers in his village came alive at night, just like toy story, then had babies, and then died. So only their babies were left, and in a desperate attempt to cover up, the babies try to position themselves like their mother and father towers, but unfortunately, the Chief noticed, causing him to file a report on the almighty CoC forums, which ultimately led to a user named eboy9821 to explain the unidentified problem, causing forum members to think i am crazy, when really it is part of a whole conspiracy, where the illuminati is involved.
