I wouldn't myself ever bring up a sensitive subject in global (or at all in the game to be honest). However, I think its also very important to stand up for certain things. I don't want people to think that everyone agrees when someone makes a statement agains homosexuality, I don't need to enter into an argument but I think it matters to just point out that I believe in all peoples equal value and right to not be discriminated. I do not know who read that global, if someone who is gay reads it I want it to be clear that not everyone agrees with those ppl talking. Same with a bunch if different subjects, I make sure to just state there is another way of seeing things. Like if someone says something racist or sexist for example.

I have no interest in debating the matter or convince people that I'm right, but I think it I can make a difference by just showing that it doesn't have to be that way.

But yeah, preferrably I avoid those subjects completely and only talk about game related matters...or just avoid global.

But he said there were many people saying those things. How many of them would get banned? What if there was a gay person reading what they were saying and starting to feel really bad? I support the OP's actions and agree with him that it is really sad things like this have reached the game.

I am 13, and I absolutely hate it when people my age, and people much older then me, use that term like its an insult. Yes, I'm only 13, and I am a Catholic who goes to a Catholic school, but seriously? How can the fact that someone is different be used as an insult? I am sick of all the racism, discrimination and hate for people who do things different, or see things differently, or like things differently. I know its against my religion, but honestly? I hate that rule of my religion. People should be able to do whatever they want, without being mistreated.


I applaud you Julez, for having the courage to fight your way through that mob of clueless kids. I am only 13, yet I believe I am much more mature then most people my age, and a lot of people 1-5 years older then me, not just because I know whats right and wrong, but for other reasons too.
