It pains me to make a thread like this, but where is the loot? (srs)

I am TH8. I have tried many different trophy ranges!

About 2-3 weeks ago, I used to find vast amounts of delicious lootations. I haven't found anything above 130k (both elixer/gold) for like 2 weeks (dead srs). Even when I come across TH8s with their collectors as much as half full, I get a measly 80k gold+elixer. It's weird. I literally used to be the king of loot and all my pals would be envious cus I'd find all these crazy loots with 350k both gold+elixer. Now, 2 weeks, hardly anything. It's seriously putting me off playing because it seems like SC have recently nerfed it or something of the sort.

Is this a massive coincidence or has something changed recently?

I'm th8 to but I'm still finding good loot :/

Did you rush town halls? If you have, then of course, it will be incredibly difficult to farm. If you haven't, then I suggest coming up to crystal to farm.

I feel your pain, i cant find anything at Gold 1 (1700 - 1900) If anyone has a better trophy range for a th9 please tell me.

WOW, 300k gold in a hour of raiding, you're right loot is wonderful! Seriously though, you're happy about this? Just goes to show you how the term "good loot" has so radically changed this year.

I prefer giant+healer over BARCH, allows me to hit storages when I feel like it. Don't get me wrong, I haven't found ♥♥♥♥ for loot for a month, but over the last 6 days I've had great loot. Just trying to give those having trouble some hope, I was in your shoes for the last few weeks, I almost quit the game.

As you can tell, I raid every 30 minutes. So I'm doing okay right now and could probably do better if I pushed myself I could get it down to every 22 mins.

Loot has improved signicantly for me over the last week, th8 1400-1600 lots of collectors you will always have days where you only get 1 mil....but lately it's been 3-4 mil sometimes more sometimes less!

Another data point:

Loot has been terrible for me since the last update. The only 200/200 bases that I have seen since the update are TH10 or TH9 and the loot is in the storages. As a TH8 (coupled with a busy work schedule), taking the 1+ hour to cook up an army that might be able to get in (before getting burned by disco infernos and mauled by level 3 x-bows) is a big change when compared to pre-update times (at least 2 to 3 full storage raids per hour with barch).

Trophy range: gold 3 to low crystal 1.

2. I'm afraid to go to TH 10 for loot reasons. I'm aware that loot is worse there and many of my current targets are TH 8's, all of which close to useless to raid at TH 10 with the 50% penalty.

Why are you wasting gold there mate? Why not upgrade some more skullies until a builder free for your last upgrades?
